This fun piece was inspired by the memories of lengthy festivity preparations—moms and aunts getting altogether, all glammed up with their gold (no one knows if they're fake or real 🤣) jewelleries—gossiping, chopping, mixing, rolling, frying—tongues getting burned from tasting fresh-from the fryer lumpias.
Also, it’s my portrayal of reaching a zen-like state, enjoying your own company, doing the things that you love, losing track of time and nurturing your ability to be independent.
